Based on a moment of betrayal in the biblical story the death of Jesus Christ, taken from the perspective of Judas Iscariot as seen in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, I focused on dark religious imagery and the feeling of guilt, despair, and deception. Featured are silver coins- the materialistic motivation behind Judas' betrayal- and the repetition of crucifixes, omnipresent reminders of Judas' actions.
